Schoolboy killed man to save mother

Police who arrested a schoolboy on guess of attempted murder after he shielded his mom by murdering a knife-wielding next door next door neighbour have discharged speak of a long-running argument in between the dual families.

The ground for the primary conflict on 53-year-old Sandra Crawford by her next door next door neighbour Jonathan London, 46, in St Albans, Hertfordshire, is unknown. Ms Crawfords 18-year-old son James Killen, had come downstairs on Friday and found his mom lonesome in blood. He wrested the blade from her attacker, who suffered mixed gash wounds.

Detectives arrested Mr Killen, an A-level student, on guess of murder, afterwards expelled him on bail until June.

London, who is thought to live with his relatives in the next-door house, is accepted to have have been on remedy for epilepsy.

Mr Killens crony Ben Riddell, 18, said: "It was a weird tragedy and James was a favourite for removing his mums assailant off her."

Ms Crawford, an air hostess, remained in a vicious condition last night in Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge.
